VTC1: The new champions of the Valley Team Championship!

This last summer, Nadeo released the second and new Trackmania² environment. A few months later and after a lot of intense and thrilling matches, we know who is the best Valley team.

Last night, the Awsomniac and CMC teams played versus each other in a deciding match for the final win (BO5). The old and known CMC Trackmania team tried to fight against the famous and great players of the young Awsomniac team but the addition of so much talents was too strong for them.
Finally, it took three maps for the Awsomniac players to grab their first title on this new environment.

Electronic Tournaments is back is back in business and proud to announce that we are finally back on track and are here to promote our first team league on the brand new environment TM² Valley. It's time for the the Valley Team Championship (VTC1), a 3vs3 league with the aim to determine the best team on valley.We invited all of you to join us in the battle of the best.

Gather six drivers and be part of the show. If you don't have a team, form one. Alternatively, ask in our forum and present yourself to teams searching for drivers. Read the rules, register your team and enjoy the fun. For more informations, check out the league page. http://www.et-leagues.com/vtc1
The registrations are open!

The planning for the coming weeks will be as follow:
September 19th: Opening of the registrations
October 2nd: Release of first map pack
October 4th: End of registrations/creation of the division
October 9th: VTC1 Round 1

Registrations are open since one week and so far we have 19 teams who signed up. Two more weeks to go, keep it going lads! Remember, you need to have at least 6 players registered until we close the registrations on the 4th of October.

well i dont believe there will be more then 30 teams in the end a lot of teams arent even close to 6 players

after TWL1 with over 60 teams (TWL0 was a betacup, i wont count this as first event ^^ ), this isnt cool at all !
I think this should show u its time for action/changes!
i will list the thingys u need to do :

-more daily events to make et more popular! people dont wanna plan 6,7 weeks of there life for a comp if they never participated in a comp like this before.. make some events so new people will get attracted for ET events !
when u dont invent new ideas.. well dont believe u get more guys or a good comp like this
u always have to improve.. with things like mapfeedback back then, it made trust for u (ET) for example.. comps became more popular after this ! same for FET/NC and so on.. but if u rest u will loose

-finally fix the stupid teamsystem like it is now! when u finally see that these merc teams are destroying tm!?! why the hell is there dunno team (awsomniac i should say ) with 10 pros and liked 13 guys.. its one envo! WTF! why u need +6 guys for a team ? max the ammount of players on 6 for singleenvocomps... more teams more competition etc pp

-same for tmu tho! why the hell there is no limit of players for a team!?!? u wonder why noone wants to play div 1 .. if u want competiton and when the teams cant do it on there own (as they cant, clearly proofed over the years! .. wont make a roman out of this topic, so believe me they cant ^^ ) .........then limit them! u think TnT was a good idea for comp X with 20 players.. well i dont think so .. and so over time people started to loose interest in ET / competition ! cause they are not fun as they are now

-TMU is so nice in the way to promote competitons.. first screen is instantly the messageboard !
on tm2.. well its a overloaded screen of 30 games (well arent there just 4 games in MP ?`:D ) no possibility to see those facts/comps at the first time u are truely the racecompetitiongame nr1 (not )

-i dont wanna know how much time (money - $$$ ) u invested for the useless maniascripting where u can buy/share stuff..
lol if u would be smart, u would had just rent an inetpage in the first place (so like year 2007) where u can exchange everything TMX for example would be my first buy to exchange maps! u could had created subforum for everything there as well ... make ONE hyperlink in the ingamemenu for all the stuff.. and let them browse with a good searchtool , called firefox/IE/Chrome....
i dont know.. i play tm for a long long time. i used these pages like 100 times maximum (since the release) , cause its bad sorted, to expensive to buy tracks (well no, not true... coopers/planets.. they are useless anyway ) , but the searching is bad compared to any inetpage.. long loadingtimes too for jpegs!!!... a real trashsystem...
i heard internetpages were easier to programm for consumers as well

if u would had did this at the first place.. well we would be far ahead in tm.. blessed with like 12 envos, i am sure u would had made more money as well

-the officalmode is pathetic with the waitingtime.. so soloplay in tm2 gone too.. GJ

-the laddersystem still broken.. since TMS!!!! i know u love peace.. everyone gets points, everyone wins, one community ...well no we need - points, for the sake of rage/adrenalin .. humans arent always friendly, and so games shouldnt be as well.. tms was a real badass sometimes... way more emotions when u can loose u know ? ... but no u dont know it... -.- i saw tmu,tm2,canyon and valleyladder...
when i see the system behind it.. with the proservers (+70000lp and so on ) i just feel sick.. friend of mine tries to get on such a serv since a year.. minus points after 1 week + no points on the "lower" servers.. he feels like this is a joke xD but he wasnt at the top of the system , and doesnt know how pathetic it is in reality.. these drivers arent even close to good, just they played more on ladderservers.. ya this system is broken , u had like 5 years to fix it.. never done ^^

-commerciallevel for TM2 is 0 as well.. i know why stadium became popular.. ESWC! pricemoney.. (they never even paid , not ? ) , but well, that was the reason for the boom.. marketingcampaign into esports... u dont do that anymore at all.. u need to invest the money into that for commercial.. nth else... 10000 € worldcup valley 24-12-2013... u couldnt imagine what would happen...

i still like the game, but these things will make TM die in the end i guess

I'm not aginst some one-day events but until now we rather focused on a more serious league, because we thought it was more important to have it. Also, one-day events are organized by several other structures, even if it's not ET, it exists.

A players limitation could be relevant, for instance. But 6 is too low, as it's considered as the minimum under which the viability of a team is threatened. It should also be included in a larger scale teams policy: should we allow second squads? What do we do if soon both the first and the second squad of the same team are in the final of a league? If we forbid second squads, how to prevent teams to register their second squads under a fake name, hence getting them legal?

That being said, i think we shouldn't leave the teams size reach the infinite, but i'd like to read the opinion of the teams on this matter, especially those ones that aren't in the world top 10. And if we change the rules, we'll change them for the VTC2: i wouldn't like to change such a rule while the tournament is running.

Last but not least, i think we shouldn't mix up everything here. Please keep this thread related to the VTC or at least ET and discuss the general eSports/Nadeo policy in another thread.

VTC1: Finals this evening on Wednesday 20th at 21h CET!

After 6 weeks of great matches, the two best teams of the VTC1 will play their final match this Wednesday at 21h on a maximum of five maps (BO5). Indeed, the confrontation between the Awsomniac and CMC teams will decide the best team of the first ET league on TrackMania² Valley.

Relay servers still doesn't work on TM² so there won't be any but you will be able to watch the match with streams. We will update this post and the last news of the VTC1 website with the links, or just follow the match page here to get them.
