I wouldn't mind being given some tips on how to edit block characteristics. Even being pointed in the right direction would be a great help. Is this possible? For example Rail Gun Block: jump-able.

here's a tip: it's not possible
you can't modify existing blocks

you could only make an own object with rail option but you would still not be able to jump on it
