TM² Demos

What player do with the new Demos of TM² Valley/Stadium/Canyon. What can (or can't) they do with it?^^

As far as I understood they will only be able to play on Ubisoft servers. But I might be wrong.

The 10 years access will be limited to some servers hosted by Nadeo Live.

Then, we should be able to make a demo solos, which are really efficient to bring more people, since it could be less intimidating for many.

Then, the free access for custom titles should be for Maniaplanet 3, later, alongside the mixmaping, the top titles, the generalized quick overlay (see Elite) and other things that are part of the system.

So, there are already three steps ahead to welcome more players. And we have others afters.

By the way, among good additions for TM, there should be evolutions on the scripts capacities for modes, update of the modes for using them and items with start/cp/finish/static lights. These ones should re-inforce the interest of title packs.

Free demo and extra packages. I think tcq is right about what demo-players can do. I hope this free demo will be available on steam as well or any game-site to attract as much players as possible.
For me its just spreading this news among my not playing TM-friends (yes i have those as well ) and on my fb-friends etc etc etc.

Elite Demo? nice! now he only needs to install the demo..
-> ManiaPlanet Installation 2

TM2 Demo for other titles? nice! now he only needs to install the demo..

i've tested it, the tm demo doesn't even load elite when the account has access to it, it only says "Couldn't find title SMStormElite..."

You don't need to reinstall the MP each time, the access are given automatically if you don't have the title on your account.

1. i don't reinstall it, i install it additional times

you can't access the sm demo without installing the sm demo installation

You are right Steeffeen.
If a player has only Canyon, he needs to install the TM² Demo to play on the TM² Valley / TM² Stadium demos and then he has to install the Demo Elite to play on it.

Sadly I have to agree with that, btw I posted about the TM2 demos on other topics and people were complaining about the same thing and how "nadeo ruined TM by separating it in 3 games"
