team registration

TMN ESWC had an awesome feature that allowed teams to register and players to register themselves to a team. it allowed servers to automatically handle clans and it also allowed official clan rankings with the points system (screwed up as it was). Is that a feature that is being considered? and if not, i and many others within the community would like it to be.
