Hey folks, need some help.
Since I've got the latest Maniaplanet update my graphic card crashes during some mapping work in the map editor. The fault is described by windows as "The driver ati2dvag has stopped..." etc.
It's not the newest system, but it works still fine. Playing the game (TM2 Canyon + Stadium) works also fine. I also have the latest update for my graphic card (see below).
My system:
Intel E8500 3.0GHz
2 GB RAM
Windows XP Home SP 3
Graphic card: ATI HD 5700 (1031 MB) + latest driver update (9.0.100.1800)
Maniaplanet setup: High Resolution, Very Fast, no Antialiasing, filter Anisotrophic
Any suggestions would be really nice
*Thanks

Re: Map Editor Graphic Card Crash
Close ManiaPlanet.
Delete your Default.SystemConfig.Gbx file, located in your documents folder ManiaPlanet\Config, the game will create it again.
Clean the cache (e.g. using the Launcher, Configure, Advanced, P2P tab).

(Still) Map Editor Graphic Problems
Hey Guys,
sorry, but my problem from this topic
http://forum.maniaplanet.com/viewtopic. ... 64&t=24723
is still on...
After following TMarcs tip with deleting the Default.SystemConfig.Gbx and emptying the game cache, it works 1 of 3 times fine, but unfortunately Maniaplanet still crashes during the map editor or when leaving it going back to the menu (I work with the video setting "Very Fast"). Every time the graphic driver ati2dvag stopped working (and then windows completely) and I had to switch the computer off with the case power button. I even reinstalled the ATI driver + DirectX 9 (still using XP) and put all configs of my video card back to standard. Not too good...
I put the latest maniaplanet crash log + my Default.SystemConfig.gbx together with the analysis from Whocrashed in a zip, maybe you could help me (sorry for bothering you again):

Merged topics... no need to open a new one
To bad it is not solved
What if you tick the checkbox "ignore driver bugs"?
Did you try to untick DX3D9x?
Did you try to run the game with XP SP3 compatibility mode?

Re: Map Editor Graphic Card Crash
Sorry for my double posting
DX3D9x is on - where can I tick the checkbox "ignore driver bugs" & how run the game with XP SP3 compatibility mode?
(Never did it before). I can give it a try then.
Thanks for your help!

Re: Map Editor Graphic Card Crash
ok, thanks for the XP compatibility help!
Do you know where can I find the checkbox "ignore driver bugs" (in Maniaplanet, I presume)?
Btw., my Maniaplanet video config:

Re: Map Editor Graphic Card Crash
my bad, ignore driver bugs was removed.
Instead, try disabling / enabling the following options:
D3D BC4/5
Enable check lags
Enable D3D9Ex
Safe Mode
If you have a new crashlog, please provide this.
And also try the debug version. http://files.maniaplanet.com/debug_vers ... t_logs.zip
this creates a logfile with more details.

Re: Map Editor Graphic Card Crash
Thanks, I will try the other options today and can post my report if it worked or not.
I also work already with XP, so compatibility mode can only used with Win 98, NT or 95...
Where do I have to put the ManiaPlanet_logs.exe - file?
