Random crashes [solved: rudder pedals' fault]

Hello,

I just reinstall the game recently via Steam to play with friends but the game crash a lot.
It crashes about 2 or 15 minutes since I launched the game (never played 1 hour straight ). It could be in the menu or even in the editor but rarely while I'm playing. I'm not certainly sure but it happen almost every time when I click on something in the UI. But not sure yet.
I tried in safe mode but still the same. Tried various settings and even without sounds.
I running the game in low graphics to get optimal performance on a 120Hz monitor (220-300 fps average) and my graphics driver are up to date.

My rig:
Windows 7 x64
Intel i7 950
Nvidia 480 GTX
6GB DDR
Mouse: Razer DeathAdder with Razer Synapse

I don't know how to get logs. I saw in other topics the "maniaplanet_logs.exe" but when I try to launch the game with this file, nothing happen. (Installed via Steam)

EDIT:
I'll get to bed but I was thinking that I'm using a custom crosshair, could it be the cause ?
Anyway I'll try this and get back here.

It is the same without the custom crosshair.
And it's seems to be each time that I click on the UI.

Any help about the log files ?

ManiaPlanetlogs.exe is basically only meant for the regular steamless setup.

But if there is a real crash, the game should create a crashlog file at the next start.
Please look in your documents\ManiaPlanet folder for new files.

So I thought it was happening only when I was clicking on the UI but yesterday the game froze while I was in-game.

I tried to reinstall the game via Steam again and it crashes after 3 minutes....

Should I try the non-steam version ?

Tried the non-steam version, same crashes...
When I load the match up of the lobby (Elite), it often crash... Giving me a penality.

When I looked again in documents/maniaplanets/ I can't find any log files

I directly reinstall the Steam version and uninstall the other.

Where are located the crash logs of the steam version ?
I looked into \Documents\ManiaPlanet but nothing.

the crashlogs should be saved at the same place,
but perhaps they get saved somwhere in the Steam folder?

I don't have any logs either in \Documents\Maniaplanet\... or in \SteamApps\common\ManiaPlanet_SMStorm\...
