Maniaplanet maniateam maniapub etc what are they?

Ive been looking at Trackmania and watching it grow and change in the time ive been playing and even if that is on and off i have seen some really good and some not so good changes.

The main reason i am posting this topic is all the new "Mania" stuff, example, maniapub, maniateam you get the picture... It has been confusing me alot about all these and i have only seen the point of one "Mania" so far, and thats this place; ManiaPlanet.

I would say this is a better question to be answered by one of the Nadeo team, and not general public or moderators, this is then i get the information strait from the core of here and not outside information.
