Game freezes

Yo,

everytime I join on a server, the game freezes. Before that, it freezed only when a new map was loaded. Now it just freezes directly after joining. Also the maniaplanet menue lags ingame. I have no idea why, the freezes started today, never had that before.

GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7970, 3GB
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K, 4x3.4GHz
RAM: 16GB

I've tried to restart PC, but it's still not working.

edit: there's also no crash report about the crashes today.

Try emptying the cache (Launcher -> Configure -> Advanced -> Game -> Empty the cache button).

Did you try to update your graphic drivers and to change your ingame settings (choose very fast in the game launcher: http://wiki.maniaplanet.com/en/Configure#Display)?
