titlepack creation command line

since MP3.1:
instead of going into the pack editor selecting the pack and going to the title section, and clicking on test, you can now use the command line :

Code: Select all

/testtitle=mytitle@login

which will run you straight to the tile menu.

(And it also works if @login is not your login, can be usefull for collaboration..)

I'm interested in using that feature but I never used command lines in MP is it when you launch MP or when you're using a dedicated server or something else? Thanks! ^^'

it's the normal game client, to be launched from commandline instead of using the Launcher application.

I've already seen that documentation, but it doesn't say how to launch the game client with a command line ^^'

But I found out that I just needed to run a command line in the game folder then writing:

ManiaPlanet.exe /testtitle=elitealternative@fleo

Or you can also make a windows shortcut,
right click on it / properies
and edit the command line there
C:\ProgramFiles\ManiaPlanet\ManiaPlanetLauncher.exe /whateveryouwant=...

and then you can just click on the shortcut.

Are You sure, ManiaPlanetLauncher, not ManiaPlanet.exe?

Thanks, however after trying that I launched MP in the usual way and it had removed my titlepack from my stations. So I added it again and played my mode then realized I lost my LP (like when I'm playing in edit mode). I don't care about them so that's ok, but the ladder still displays the old amount.
