Demo server is online for testing

Post by undef.de »

I have just installed a demo server for playing around with UASECO and see how it looks and works: http://www.uaseco.org/#DemoServer

Please note: The installed UASECO version is a development snapshot and may contain several (known) bugs. If you found one, please let me know!

Hi Undef,

Everything is looking really nice :D
I have some minor things:
1) When i type /help and go to the 2nd page, all things seem to dissapear and i only see an empty page.
I can hardly believe the last alphabetical command is /lastrec so there is something going on there.
2) i miss the command /helpall (maybe because i am to familiar with xaseco), also when you type /dedihelp you see the text there is referring to /helpall
3) the helpcommands in yellow are probably default, maybe a tiny darker colour makes it a bit more readable.
4) if you type /help first to see the available commands and then type the command you want the helpwidget isnt dissapearing
4) love the localtime widget (its new to me ! )

Everything further more seems to work perfect

Greetz,

1) Yes, already know.
2) Was removed, because /help now doesn't display all commands into chat.
3) I have to take a look. ;)
4) If i remember right, the /helpall window in XAseco2 doesn't dissapear on after typing a chat command (because the chat command doesn't know anything about this window).
5) Thanks, is new in Records-Eyepiece.

@4 if you type /helpall and after that /list the helpcommands shown dissapear and you only see the list.
If you type after /list for example /active the list will dissapear. If you type /help alone the helpcommands are not shown in a widget but in the chat.

Like i said, its a minor thing because youre doing great stuff here. I am sorry i cant test more for about 2 weeks while i am at vacation. Ole ;)

Ok, now i understand. The integration of the new Window Class are not yet finished and that's the reason that you can have two Windows together on the screen (e.g. with "/help" and "/list"). When finished, then only one Window can take the place.
