Hi!
Just released a new plugin for ManiaControl called Royal Rewards.
It pays the winners of a map a definable amount of planets.
You can set the amount for the #1 winner, #2 winner and #3 winner, if you set 2 and 3 to 0 then only the winner gets planets.
I've tested it quiet thoroughly, but please let me know if you have any issues or suggestions.
The plugin is currently designed to work with the Royal mode.
The plugin will not pay any planets if
a) There aren't enough planets. (definable )
b) There aren't enough players. (definable )
c) The plugin is deactivated.
You can set the plugin to automode (read below) even if there aren't enough players or planets left on the server. It will automatically turn on when someone donates planets or more players connect.
If you have set the widget on you can also visually see of the plugin is active (paying planets) because the widget is only shown when the above a, b and c meet the criteria. If you have for example not enough players the widget is not shown, when more players join and there are enough players, the widget will shown up.
If a winner has left just before the end of the map, he will not receive any planets.
How it works
Fill in the settings needed for the script :
Minimal # of players
How many players must be on the server for the plugin to become active.
# of planets for winner
If you set the amount for the winner to 0, you disable the Rewards plugin.
# of planets the nr. 2 (0 for none)
Self explanatory
# of planets the nr. 3 (0 for none)
Self explanatory
Rewards active
Turn the Rewards plugin on or ff
Rewards manual mode [on or off]
This probably should not be in the settings mode, but basically it means when turned off the plugin is in auto mode, meaning it will keep paying planets at the end of each map until the server reaches the How many planets must remain on the server setting or reaches the Minimal # of players setting.
In manual mode the Rewards plugin will pay the planets for the winners at the end of the current map and will switch off for the next maps.
How many planets must remain on the server
Here you tell the plugin how many planets must stay on the server. If it reaches (or comes close) to that number, the plugin will show the If the minimum has been reached, show this message setting and goes dormant until someone donates more planets.
If the minimum has been reached, show this message
Message shown when the server has not enough planets left.
Widget on/off
By default a small widget is shown on screen when the plugin is active informing players what amount of planets will be payed to the winners at the end of the map. This widget will disappear when a) There aren't enough planets. b) There aren't enough players. c) The plugin is deactivated. d) Manual mode has finished.

The plugin also has a range of chatcommand options
Chatcommands
/admin rewards on
Turns the plugin on when it is switched off. The plugin will go into automode.
/admin rewards off
Turns the plugin off. No planets will be payed and no widget is shown
/admin rewards auto
Turns the plugin in automode when in Manual mode
/admin rewards manual
Turns the plugin in to manual mode (meaning it will play planets after the current map has finished, then deactivates).
/admin rewards reload
Forces the Rewards tool to reload all the settings set for the plugin. Handy when you have changed settings. Maniacontrol does not offer a trigger to reload these settings automatically after change.

Re: Royal Rewards Plugin
Wait with installing the plugin until player ranking within MP is solved. I'll drop a note when I receive confirmation it's fixed.
Re: Royal Rewards Plugin
A new version is ready for download. It has a test function built in so you can run the plugin fully functional, just no payouts. This had been setup to check if the quickfix from the ManiaConrol team indeed fixed the rankings. (just to be safe
)

Re: Royal Rewards Plugin
Still testing to see if MC PlayerRanking is working 100%. In the mean time here's an update with small enhancements. (version 0.97)
