[Splitted discussion] Autosave all replays

I think that the first one and the third one are only a couple lines of code. The second one is probably a bit more work.

Wish #1: Auto save all replays. And an option to turn it on/off.

This would make it a lot more pleasant to create videos like this. Without having to save every replay manually you can focus on driving. I imagine this feature to work like this: When the option is turned off the game auto saves replays like normally: Only the fastest time gets saved the Autosaves folder. When the option is turned on every replay you drive is saved in a sub folder structure in the Autosaves folder like this: ".../Autosaves/*mapName*/*time*/*timestamp*.Replay.Gbx". This structure would allow for an easy selection of the replays you want (f.e. you only want the fastest times in a range of one tenth of a second). DNF replays should have "DNF" as time so that they are also in one folder.

If that wasn't clear enough and you don't know what I mean, here are two examples: 1 | 2

Wish #2: Selecting a replay by clicking on the car in the media tracker editor.

When you drove a bunch of replays chances are that one of them is doing something else (is too far behind or too far to the side). If you want to remove this one, the only way to do it right now, is to check every single replay manually to find the correct one that you are looking for and then remove it. Now, if you have a lot (let's say 100 or even 1000) replays, this can be very exhausting. So it would be awesome if you could just click on the car you want to edit or remove and it becomes selected so you can edit or remove it directly.

Wish #3: Select the same skins for all replays.

K-Projects are often made by multiple drivers. And it is very likely that they have different skins, so it would be really nice to be able to set the same skin for all replays that are opened in the media tracker editor.

Let's hope these can make it into the game! :3
Inside your launcher you have a config option where you can disable replay recording. However it doesnt save replays of a map in different folders for each new map but its still the same.

Can you please explain how "disable replay recording" is anything like saving all replays?

It will disable replay recording of all replays.
I know that. When it's not checked only the fastest time will be saved and when it's checked no replay is saved. I want to save all replays.

I think you are misunderstanding ben. He just means that if you are playing online e.g. and you want to save all the attempts and runs you made it should SPLIT the replays everytime you respawn (atm it saves the whole time you spent on the map inclusive the respawns and 'give ups'. Also, a automatic replay saving function so you dont have to press 's' or 'r' all the time when wanting to save e.g. a little stunt or so.

Suggestions from my side:
- Make it a function to turn on on every session. Next time you start up the game it should be turned off again so you don't forget about it.
- This function should be available everywhere, so it needs to be selectable from the settings menu on top of the screen (gameplay settings?)
- To be more precise again, the function of the autoreplaysaver should be, that it saves a replay from a (also unfinished) run you made THE MOMENT YOU RESPAWN (GIVE UP). The genuine autosave should remain too for saving the best finished run (for mx and else), like before.

On a second thought, it would be even better if this was an option for servers. Save all replays driven by the players which play on a server.

This way when you make a K project the players don't have to send the replays to the organizers them selfs, because the replays are getting saved on the server and the organizers can get them from there.
