You are wrong : both are standard server scripts + manialinks site.

maniascript will very probably permit to do more things than actual xmlrpc based scripts, it seems that these are script sent to dedicated and/or client which then are executed directly on dedicated and client. But none can say more (except nadeo) until we see how it looks, and the api.

I am currently adding multi team modes in Fast : TeamRelay (with real added run times, not approximate script times), TeamRounds, and TeamLaps. I made a beta test of relay race yesterday (with arkone and gued), some cosmetical things are still lacking.
I tried to handle many different configurations cases, but if you think about a specific way to count rounds points, round scores, and map scores, tell me : i will add features if not already supported.
All those modes should be ok in less than 1 week, so future competition can eventually use some of them.
