Aborting in profile selection menu still loads the game

When I switch to another profile / user before logging in, and then press the Cancel button,
Maniaplanet still loads the main menu, but then not any game is working.
E.g. Stadium says it was not able to install or update the title files.

I would expect that either no official title is shown (where at least a user is required),
or that the game tells that a user is required to proceed.
