New organization of the forum

Post by Cerovan »

Following the latest maintenance, we have modified how the forums are organized on the Maniaplanet Forum.

Here is the new structure:
English
  • Announcements
  • Community / Events
  • Maniaplanet
  • Trackmania²
  • Shootmania
  • Questmania
  • Trackmania Turbo
  • Support (now combine help and bugs reports)
  • Moderators Forum
Languages
  • Chinese
  • Dutch
  • French
  • German
  • Polish
  • Russian
Creation & Dev
  • Dedicated Server
  • Web Services
  • Ingame
  • Player Tools
Archives
From now, all the announcements will be broadcasted on the new Announcements forum which is on the English section.

The Community/Events forum will gather of the content created by the community. But if you're developing a Title Pack/gamemode or in the process of creating an asset (like a skin/3D object/etc), please use the Workbench forum of the related game.

You have also certainly noticed the lower number of dedicated languages forums. Some have been archived due to the low activity of these forums. The content of those forums still exist and they can be reactived if we feel the need.

Feel free to leave your feedbacks

Thank you for your comprehension!

I like it ;)

My 2 suggestions :
- Rename "Support" to "Support & Bugs" or have it seperately. For me these are 2 "completely" different things.
- Working with tags is good in theory, but yeah... we'll see how many actually do it :p
Therefore I'd put "Announcements" inside the game-thread

ShootMania/Announcements
TrackMania/Announcements

Anyways, gj Cerovan

Done :)

TrackMania/Announcements
At the moment i find it more interesting to keep this kind of stuff in the same place (and easier to track for all the users) :)

"Bugs Reports" should be "Bug Reports" (only the last word plural). ;) And in the subforum too.

Otherwise, good re-org.

Also, "Medias" as subforum of Community / Events should be "Media".
Media is already the plural of medium, so "Medias" is not a word.

Not in French, "les médias" means newspapers, magazines, tv channels, Internet etc. ;-)
Even in Latin there is the saying "in medias res".
But yes, it should be simply media
