TrackMania2: Key issue

I can anyone help I downloaded Trackmania 2 Canyon but after i register it asks me for for a key but when i put the serial key in it it says this key is not walid............can anyone plzzzzzzzzz help me and I cannot find regidit also????

Reboot your PC.
Make sure to start maniaplanet at least once with admin rights, and check if Defender, Antivirus and firewall have not blocked Maniaplanet.exe, as the updater usually fetches a new exe.

Did you well copy and paste the key received by email? If you are using a Steam account, you don't have to enter your key as your key automatically linked to your account when you create it.
