Sound not coming back

Yo, following issue which bothers me a lot:
I'm often using a headset while playing Maniaplanet. Mostly I also have other programs running, such as TS and/or music player. However the headset is malfunctioning, which means it sometimes unplugs itself and plugs itself back in. While TS sound is coming back once the headset is being detected by Windows again, I do not hear the ingame sound anymore, which is pretty annoying since I have to restart the game to get back the sound.
I don't know what's the issue there and if it's something on my side or a general bug. Should be fixed as soon as possible as it's ruining my game experience.

It might not be easy to reproduce...

I reported this in 2012.

I think it's very easy to reproduce
Start Maniaplanet with headset, plug it out and back in -> no sound. Done.

Okay good to know it's not something on my side. Same problem exists in TM1 too, no surprise the same happens in Maniaplanet as well. Hopefully it'll get fixed SOME DAY.

hum... can't reproduce it with a normal jack headset I guess you are using USB headset with some kind of cool software and gaming leds... oldschool rocks.

This used to happen with gamepads... You had to restart the game if you wanted to use it or just start the game with gamepad plugged in. (still happens in TMUF to me) They fixed it in MP I guess they can use the same workaround to fix another device too.

I use the one on my mobo. I didnt buy an extra soundcard. Just the default on my mobo.
Anyways its not fixed in 2012... No reason to post all my speccs again. I guess they know the bug and dont have time or w/e.

I know but why it doesn't happen to me? I wanted to discard a hardware conflict issue, I don't have sound card either. and I never lost game sound, even with ts, skype, music player at the same time... Sound settings set to normal in launcher.

I only have it with ManiaPlanet. Not with other games or applications.
