Had the same bug once, random link appeared in the middle of the buddy list. Restarting the game fixed it for me.

On your buddy list you have more than 1 page of buddies so when you have clicked on the "join server" button, you probably have clicked on the nickname link of another buddy placed at the same position in the 2nd page.

This is a known bug that has never been fixed in the past.
