Oculus DK2 support for SDK 0.8

Now that Oculus has completely removed support for "extended mode" starting with SDK 0.7, is there a way to play TM2 with the Oculus? When I attempt to "Detect HMD", it always says, HMD Not Found...
I saw the news that TMTurbo was planned to support the CV1 when released, but I'd really like to play TM2 now on my DK2.
Thanks,
JP

Trackmania Turbo will have full Oculus Support, there are no plans to update Trackmania 2 to the latest SDK, probably from April next year you may see the Nadeo Team change that if oculus/vive etc popularity is enough to spend on development.

Given the price (high) and the availabilty (nearly none), I doubt there will be a big popularity.
I don't say it is not interesting, but it is only a hype.
And they missed the chance to create a kind of VR standard for the mass market. But that's normal that companies prefer proprietary stuff...

Seeing the huge amount of VR hardware development, it can only get cheaper and more available over time. It will take a while, but eventually everyone can get VR, I'm sure.
