My Question is: How do you want to avoid a Server collapsing due to a huge amount of download requests at 0:00 or guarantee a satisfying download speed?

We have been used to quite big launch in our experience and we succeeded with Nations Forever

We can never guarantee that it will not crash and we always optimised on the release day.

The team is mostly here tonight and complete tomorrow for servers.

But a unexpected thing is an unexpected thing ^_^

I'm going to download it around 17:00 or 19:00...so -1 player who downloads at 0:01 to avoid server crash (haha ^^)

Has it been confirmed that PayPal will be an option?

And should we USA players be worried at all that the buy and download link disappears on trackmania.com when we switch from United Kingdom to United States?

We want to help load test the download servers too after all!

My first thought as i hear, that the preorder begin on 17. and the beta too, was: bye bye Download Servers. ^^

I have played many online Games where the Servers go down, when the Download is on the same time than the Server opens. The problem is, when over a big specific number of Users will connect on the same time, than there is no Server on the World that is strong enough for that many requests. Its like a naturally DDOS Attack.

But since you must buy TM2 and it is not a true open Beta, there is a chance that the Number of Users at the same time is low enough for the Server. ^^
