To all those complaining about the release:

Post by Trackmaniack »

For starters, Beast, STFU. If you can't even spell Nadeo right, you need to GTFO this forum. ESPECIALLY since your six comments have only been negative. Let me tell -you- something, Mr. High-and-Mighty and everyone else that thinks this is some sort of cruel joke by Nadeo. And I hope that this gets spread around to all the fragging gamesites that have some sort of skewed view of the way things work.

Firstly. Nadeo is NOT Ubisoft. Yes. Ubisoft purchased Nadeo. However, they are not behind the creation of Trackmania 2, nor are they in charge of its development. Which means, guess what? No UbiDRM. Florent runs things around here.

Secondly. You are paying for early access into the BETA, which will be upgraded into the full game upon RELEASE. This is NOT a free-for-all-come-all-retarded-CoD-kiddies-beta. This is a closed, invite-only beta. Which some members had the PRIVELIGE of being part of. This is not a right.

Thirdly. As this is a BETA, there will be things that will happen to the game that will not happen at release, such as high-level bugs and server-crashes and the like. This is because Nadeo (again, this is NOT Ubisoft) are testing the system along WITH us to see what stressloads it can take, what type of system is the most efficient, etc. You should actually count yourself LUCKY that they're testing this now, else the serverload crashes would be happening on release day.

Lastly. If you can't elevate the quality of your posts above the level of a primary-school child, you need to get off the web. At least Maniaplanet. I haven't seen such horrible grammar since I was -in- primary school. Now, quit bitching. :teub:

And as an aside, this is a GIFT by Nadeo. They didn't HAVE to do this. They could have just said "We're going to release on X date, you can wait until then." You should be THANKING them, not complaining about what you think is going on that inconvenienced you.

<_< If anyone's a troll, you are. The only comments you've made have been negative, attacking, and inflammatory. I won't compare e-peens with you because that's not what this is about. I only called you out because you're the most vehement. But since you're a troll that's your purpose. Anyway, this thread primarily is a "please cool out" message to everyone freaking out about this, but it was more prudent for me to create my own thread rather than arguing with you in yours as to not descend into a flamewar. So, take a breath, take a cold shower, whatever it takes. Just ease up on the adrenaline-soaked fury, okay?

How is this an invite-only beta? We pay for it, we download it, there's no invite in the process.

Just sayin'.

However, I also disagree with the people flying off the handle about the issues, go get lives, if it doesn't work right now, go do something else for a couple hours then come back and try again, the game won't magically disappear.

Also, OP, for trying to play the mature one, you're doing an awfully bad job... You don't call out individual users on a forum, you PM them if you have a problem with them.
