Online purchase issue (not *exactly* the queue...)

Hi,

I was waiting for hours in a "purchase queue" to purchase the game. When i finally got to the purchase page and started filling in my details, it jumped into the queue again in the middle of typing. I was halfway through entering my credit card number!

I'll be buying it through the Ubisoft store as recommended in another thread, but this should really be looked into. I hope there's no difference between the version on the Ubisoft store and on trackmania2.com.

in ubishop you can only download the game 30 days after buying.. so you should make a back up

Yep, just noticed... only 30 days. What's up with that? A ridiculous requirement in the world of e-purchases. :/

After having decided to buy the game via the Ubisoft store, I tried to login to the store and download the game. However, the store won't let me log in! Even if I reset the password of my account, all attempts to log in to the store just take me back to a front page where I'm not logged in. Logging in on the normal Ubisoft page works fine, though...

I am actually slightly apalled by how poorly this is handled. I'm a relatively devoted TrackMania fan and I've loved the previous games, but this is beginning to get out of hand. Can't prepurchase on one site, can't download after spending the money on another. And naturally, I'd have liked to use Steam, but I know that's not an option...

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

For download link, like I said, I think we will provide a link to download the files publicly. You mainly have to secure a key. I agree that 30 days is too short.

Thanks for the quick reply. I eagerly await a public download link... it's not fun to have paid for the game and not being able to play. I've got my key already.

EDIT: I was able to get the Ubisoft download working! I still can't login, but using my order number I was able to get the download link. The trick was to go into Ubisoft Store's "Help" page, and then enter the order number + password there. Logging in with my account details didn't work from that page either, though.

I'm having the same problem, can't login the Ubi store, just redirects me to the frontpage again

Sent a mail to customer support, I imagine it'll be a long wait before I get an answer from them.
