Or will the full game have the same performance as the Open Beta? Yes, I know its a beta but it seems to be the full game pretty much, just with everything locked and missing features. I'll be surprised if the final game performs better. But I'd like it to.
I ask this because I wanted to get the Xbox One version but there's far too much vsync tearing in that, so much so I'm not willing to put up with it. So I'm now going to have to get the PS4 version because there is far less vsync tearing in it, especially during gameplay.
Anybody know? I would still prefer the X1 version but not if it performs the same as the beta.
Improved vsync performance in the full game?

Re: Improved vsync performance in the full game?
I'm guessing vsync is disabled in order to provide the most reponsive control input possible.
I'm also guessing that screen tearing happens when the framerate drops below refresh rate (ie. 60hz/60fps).
I imagine it's very hard to predict framerate in a game where there can be 99 cars driving around in user made environments, but have noticed some dynamic level of detail reduction based on distance from game camera.
Could this LoD management be dynamically adjusted based on other factors like number of players (ie. if players > 50, reduce LoD)?
Would lowering the resolution in order to hit a constant 60fps be acceptable?
Would enabling vsync and lowering control responsiveness be acceptable?
I can't really think of any other balance adjustments that could be made to reduce screen tearing.

I know what you mean but the game even does it in single player campaign when there are no other cars on screen.
