[BUG] MediaTracker Triggers

Post by Skeleton »

I found a small bug in the mediatracker.
When I put a trigger to clip0 and then make clip1 it's allowing me to put a trigger in clip1 where I already have a trigger in clip0. This is a bug and I shouldn't be able to place a trigger where there is already one in another clip.
I ran tests and only one trigger is triggered. If you was to do this by mistake you would spend ages working out why your trigger wasnt triggering until you go through all your clips to find you've got two triggers in the same place.
I'm sure MP tells you a trigger can't be placed because one is already there.

P.S. Please bring back clip conditions

Ok now I've found this bug is there in MP now and I know it didn't use to be, I know it use to tell me that a trigger was already there when I tried placing one where there was already one in another clip. Who broke it? come on own up to it and fix it please. I go away for two years and this is what happens :roflol:

in mp it's this(probably as you say in tmt also) : the first trigger will get activated, while the second trigger will get ignored
to prevent this: go to the mt-block-placing menu and check all your triggers and then you see if 2 or more triggers are in one place

It use to warn you and not allow a trigger in the same place, this is all I'm pointing out.

yep, usually it should that like it was in tmuf, but i thought they would do another mt update that you can put more triggers in one place and that would allow more poss for the mt :)

Having two triggers in one place would be fantastic if Trackmania Turbo had clip conditions like MP.
You then could put if< then one clip is trigger and if> then other clip is triggered.
Now I mention this I need to check if that is the case in MP and that's why it was changed.
If this is the case then either conditions need to be put into TMT or the allowing two triggers in one place removed.
I would prefer conditions to be put into TMT myself.

Yes two triggers work in one place with different conditions added in MP. Don't think this was there two years ago. Would be nice to have this in TMT :thx:

what, both condtions works in one place o.O
as i worked with the mt i can place 2 clips in one place, but the game knows only the first trigger.... so you can put 2 mts with a single text and both will shown?

I made two clips and put a trigger in the same place in both clips. First clip trigger I put condition if speed is over 100 do a transition fade. In other clip I left blank but with condition if speed is under 100. If my speed went over 100 the trigger triggered and faded to black but if I went under 100 it didn't, it worked every time. It does like I've always wnted in the pass
Now we need this in TMT
