Can only play track 1, 4, 6, 8 and 10 from Canyon Drift. Other tracks crash to desktop while loading. Game also crashes when loading Valley and Stadium TrackBuilder. Canyon and Lagoon TrackBuilder load and work fine. Tracks that do load, work fine. No lags or glitches.
Desktop PC
Win 7 Ultimate x86
6 Gb ram
AMD Phenom 9550 Quad Core 2,2 Ghz
ATI Radeon HD 4600 1 Gb
Trackmania Graphic settings as low as possible
First installed the game on same system, but under win 10 x64, same settings. Due to crashes mentioned above, I re-installed on win 7 partition, but no difference.
Update: Just installed Game update, but now it's even worse. When trying to load one of the tracks I couldn't play before the update, my computer really gets angry. TM crashed and then it takes a few minutes before I get my mouse cursor back and then another couple of minutes to regain control over my system. Not funny... Maybe a Radeon problem???
Update2: It definitly seems to be a Radeon problem. Tried to build a Lagoon map in the trackbuilder. Everything (editing and validating) works perfect until I try to save the track. After about 23 or 24 percent TMT crashes and gives me (device_hung) on my ATI Radeon.
I also tried TMT again on the Win 10 partition after the update from april 4th, but now when I try to load a previous unplayable track, my computer reboots after a few minutes of struggling..

Re: Game crashes after map load
Hi there, im posting because I'm experiencing the same issue as you. First a crash to deskop and some maps, and now after the update my game doesn't respond. I also get a message : Device removed.
Seems to be a DX11 problem with radeons.
Anyway if you find a solution to this problem, please let me know, that would be very nice ! Thanks a lot.
(Please forgive my poor english, im french)
My spec. :
Windows 7 64 bits (SP1)
4gb RAM
Ati mobility radeon 4500/5100 series
Amd athlon II Dual core m300 (2ghz)

Re: Game crashes after map load
It's unfortunately a known issue with that type of cards (Radeom 4xxx series).

Hey TMarc,
Thnx for the reply.
My post is in fact a reply on another forum:

Could we say that the older Radeon cards are not supported in TMT? Cause in that case, I'll have to find a way to return my purchase, because buying a new graphics card that suits TMT is not an option for me now...

Re: Game crashes after map load
that's the sad thing. According to the minimum specs, they should be supported.
But the specs say at one place DX10 compatible card, at another DX11.

Re: Game crashes after map load
Just checked my Win 7. Directx 11 is installed...

Re: Game crashes after map load
That Dx11 is installed does not mean much.
The incompatibility is somewhere between the card, the drivers, DirectX and Turbo.

Re: Game crashes after map load
Hm, it seems it's about time to do some car washing in the neighbourhood and earn some money to buy myself a less prehistorical graphics card then...

Re: Game crashes after map load
Hehe yeah. Also trimming the lawn. Paiting the porches (not the Porsches
) etc.

Re: Game crashes after map load
LOL. So much for my summer holidays. Planned to do some racing. It'll be racing alright, but with a lawn mower
