Hi everybody,
Could anybody please explain me when or how echo 6 is going to be unlocked?
I am for more than a week now at 0% of Echo 5 (after 100%) and i know a player who is it for more than 2 weeks.
We are at least 9 PS4 players who reached that point.
There is no progress we can make and its really annoying.

I guess until more people reaches a higher echelon, new echelons won't be unlocked. It might be for balance issues.

Re: Echo 6 (PS4)
what is this for a balancing system where high level players just get blocked until other players reach their level?
Couse afterwards the high level player just get away again

Well, if you have 0 in Echolon 5, then it could be a "ladder-server" related thing, which is not visible for the player (atm).
In Maniaplanet, we have a "Ladder" which show us "Ladderpoints" - in TMTurbo is this the same thing just in %. So, if you have echolon 5 with 0%, you should have 50.000 ladderpoints now.
-> You need to play on a server, which allow you to get more then 50.000 Ladderpoints (> echolon 6). But pls don't ask me how, maybe I could be completly wrong.^^ This is the way, how TM1/Maniaplanet worked in the past.
In the past from TM, there were some ladder"breaks" to avoid "boosting" like (60000/70000/80000/90000 -> echolon 6/7/8/9). This means, TMTurbo need (for example) 100 players which have reached the same level like you to allow for the next step to echolon 7.
Edit: corrected my post^^

Re: Echo 6 (PS4)
Now officially the first got echo 6 (30 min ago).
He got a game crash and after restarting he got echo 6 and after several more restarts he is it still.
I still don't got it.
Also he already got 17% to the next level so something must be broken.

Get away because they nolife 24/7, but it will take more time.StefanGose91 wrote:what is this for a balancing system where high level players just get blocked until other players reach their level?

The ladder system is made so a given amount of players are between the previous and next echelon. If there are still not enough players who reached echelon 4 to 5, echelon 5 to 6 (and further) won't be unlocked.
Balance issues are quite obvious. It's to give the new players a smooth ranking up experience. If there is noone (less players) in the middle of ladderboards, and average skilled player will have difficulties to rank up unless he wins high echelon players. I find it logic somehow given the ladder system, that doesn't mean I like it.
If 10 players reach echelon 9 just because they nolife the ladder, there could be boost issues and such. Random lucky new joiner echelon 2 player that wins a map against 5 echelon 9 players will not have a smooth ranking up, he will get a lot of % if not a full echelon directly.

Hi,
There are a few rules for a server to follow in order to be promoted. They were a little bit too restrictive so no rooms were respecting them.
They are explained there : https://players.turbo.trackmania.com/ps4/rooms/rules
And you can see the rooms that are promoted on the game2web for PS4, XB1 or PC.
