[TMNF] Cannot connect to the server (12002) [SOLVED]

So, it's happening with me since friday (08.07.16) and seems like I can't connect online anymore. I've already looked up on forum to see if someone had the same problem and couldn't find it.

What I do:
1. Enter the game (via steam)
2. Select a perfil
3. A message box says "Connecting to the master serve game2.trackmaniaforever.com" I wait for 1 minute (avg)
4. A message box says "Cannot connect to the server (12002)", I click OK, and then "Retry connect"
5. Repeat step 3

I didn't find anything about server shutdowns or maintenance so I'm a bit worried I can't play anymore.

Try running the game with administrator priviledges.

There was no notice about TMNF shutdown, but an error with the servers is always possible.

Sorry about the wrong forum.

Anyways, I tried that and didn't work. If it may be useful, this problem started after I installed "League of Legends" at my PC, I don't know if one another may have messed up connections configuration, but I already had this problem at our company, we are software developers and it did happen that others programs were making our software have issues, like what may be the problem here.

Probably the other software has installed some anticheat application or messed around with firewall configuration.

Reboot your PC and try Nations directly after the restart.

Check if TrackmaniaNationsForever.exe is still allowed.
And also check if there is not another new application running, which might grab (and by this block) incoming ports.

So, I tried everything you said, and I even formatted my computer but it's not working anymore, so I really don't know what to do know, because last week it was working and now it's not.

Actually there was no need to reformat your PC and to reinstall everything.
But you certainly have installed something that blocks the game.
Or you have modified something in your router configuration?

IN worst case the issue is really with the server, but this can only be answered during working weeks.

I knew there was no need, but I was already planning on doing it, and since I was already having some others problems I decided to do it today. And about the router, no, it was not modified since some months ago, but I guess that if it was the problem, then I would probably be having this months ago.

Did you try to install only TMNF on your PC after reinstall, or were you using a recent image backup of your PC?

Nah, it was redownloaded and installed. And yes, I only have TMNF installed.

And was there a message from firewall, defender, anti-virus? did you check all those settings?
