So I felt like I had some input lag. Some friend told me to lower the fps limit. After a lot of testing and different stuff (60 hz monitor):
- FPS Lock <= 60: No input lag, tons of screen tearing.
- FPS Lock > 60: Input lag, no screen tearing.
So, trying these settings with different VSync, activated or not, and things... no optimal settings. Dont know how to fix this. Help pls

Re: Fix graphic settings
if you activate vsync, then the fps should be locked automatically to 60 fps.
There should be no tearing at all, because the video card will display the frames matching to the refresh rate of your screen.
It would be interesting to know which screen you really have, and which resolution and refresh rate it supports.
And perhaps your screen is not suitable at all for any kind of gaming, if the tearing comes of the LCD panel itself.
It also depends on your CPU power. If it is too weak, this might also cause some trouble.
Make sure the video driver is not forcing any mode, e.g. vsync alwas off. Here set it to "controlled by the application".
Otherwise you won't see any real effect, only your own mind will trick you.

Re: Fix graphic settings
I have a laptop, so should be prepared for anything xD with a GTX 970m.
So I've rechecked with all you have said, and it seems that it is the vsync that causes the input lag. So I can't activate it. This means screen tearing. Graphics are at maximum so no way to put fps under 60

Re: Fix graphic settings
Alright nevermind, it is the fps > 60 what causes input lag, VSync also causes it. So back to my first post xD
Re: Fix graphic settings

Those settings are the problem.
The best working is like that but VSync off (middle option which is set to 1 intervalo there)

Re: Fix graphic settings
If it helps, TMNF works perfectly. So it is a TM2 problem
Re: Fix graphic settings
Have you tried lowering the texture quality or the polygon detail (in launcher). Maybe turn off anti aliasing.

Re: Fix graphic settings
For an AMD card it helps to put the shaderquality on prettty instead of very pretty.(viewtopic.php?f=264&t=37975)
Perhaps it helps on a NVIDIA as well. Always worth a try .
Good luck !

I want it to drop under 60 fps, not go higher xDDemented wrote:Have you tried lowering the texture quality or the polygon detail (in launcher). Maybe turn off anti aliasing.
Doesnt work. But I have screen tearing, no stuttering.HaagseSmurf wrote:For an AMD card it helps to put the shaderquality on prettty instead of very pretty.(viewtopic.php?f=264&t=37975)

go with intermediate instead of 1 at cpu/gpu syncro and turn vsync off
