Ladder points in paragon cup kill Shootmania Elite

Hello,

I think ladder points in paragon elite cup is a bad idea because now nobody comes in Matchmaking Elite 100k.

Why ?

Because In MM 100k you can loose your rank 9 and for up your rank you're going in cup and you win ladder point but you don't loose ladder points. So why going in MM 100K ? You just have to go in cup and you can only win (not loose) ladder points for up your rank.

I think paragon cup killed MM 100k.

Lot of good players play only cups and they don't go in matchmaking, so lot of player play only tuesday and saturday. It's a very sad situation.

Lot of people says "we don't care ladder points and rank". This is a lie. If in cup we can't win ladder points, everybody will goes in matchmaking. I'm sure of this.

So ladder point in cup is going to kill Shootmania.

Cup is for prestige and money, MM is for ladder points.

One suggestion : allow people to lose LP during cups, keeping the same amount of LPs when you win.

Like :

I win ! I'm gonna win 1000 LP (yep, 1000, too much I think, even If I do 3 attacks + 10 def)
Feck ! I'm gonna lose ~500-600.
Competitions are the place for players to prove how is the strongest. Making people lose a lot of LP will bring them frustration and knowing the risk, they can comeback on the MM.

That is my pov, deal with it or not. Actually, I'm winning too much LP :/

If cup servers are in gold tier (70k,80k,90k,100k) You should lose your LP, otherwise it's a bug. That's how elite ladder works.

I think you never participate at a recently cup ^^ because in cup we win lot of lp and we don't loose any lp, I played all the summer's cups and with lot of very bad score, I never loose lps:)

Tell me how cup servers are different from other servers? It's not possible to just "add" LP to the account. It's not EXP system to just add numbers, from what I know, they are using ELO + hidden factor into consideration.

I'm not a paragon admin, cup server gives more lps than other servers it's a fact, and we can't loose lps on cup servers it's other fact, it's all, I don't know how but it's the truth.

I don't understand why you talkin' in this thread if you don't play shootmania and if you don't know the actually lps system ?

When I see reaction on this topic I understand why SM players are tired...

I try to explain a problem and give a solution, but stupids reactions try to kill my effort to makes this game a better place.

Now I see the problem who many players denounce... When you try to help that's the reactions... Very sad... I have lot of others suggestions for the game but now I understand : suggestion is bad and we just have to shut up and let the game dies.
