Why do I get this : It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image. Please verify that the URL you entered is correct.
when I want to add a picture on this forum.

Share with us the url you talk about and I give you the reason. It's mostly because it's not as direct link to the image, with it's extension and so on.

The best option is to download it, and upload it to http://imgur.com/ , or whatever sharehoster you want to use.
