ManiaPlanet 4 update disaster !!!

I've started ManiaPlanet and got the pushed update to version 4 and the following is GONE !!!

My Personal settings, the car I drive, my Favorite Online servers !!!

DO NOT update because they did NOT tell you that you will lose ALL your settings !!!

Update:
Every time I start ManiaPlanet I have to reconfigure the resolution, it does NOT save this settings !!!

Also "Validation Code" does NOT work anymore, it continues to tell me that's invalid !!!

If You used custom car, you need to wait for skin update, otherwise it will crash maniaplanet.

DO NOT update because they did NOT tell you that you will lose ALL your settings !!!

It's actually quite basic in almost every game that new patch will reset configurations.

If You use steam version, it always was like that. Launcher settings were not picked by client.

Have You bought any Trackmania or Shootmania? Free players doesn't have access to planets.

As ussual I started ManiaPlanet today (Steam version sucks, because of no integration to use extended maps.), playing it for 4 year's now.

The update came and after restart ALL my settings GONE ! Country, Favorite Servers button missing, steering lagging, car's / skin's GONE, resolution resets at every start of maniaplanet (doesn't save).

This is to much of changes and NO announcement/warning up front !

Personal I've lost Storm and Valley. At seems I have to pay for cars for which I've allready paid.
Not sure if I lost stations too.

The rest seems still there (configuration etc)

The only positive thing is the graphics, they are much better ...

Playing with low setting, graphics are much worse and performance too. So nothing positive here.

I disagree, game performs well now. Don't have stutter, fps hitches like in MP3. Maybe your rig need an update?

@745 That is due to the fact that MP eats more n more n more RAM until it uses too much and makes your FPS dip hard! That already made extreme issues with MP3 and 32bit systems if you have more programs running, game crashes wrent uncommon when calculating lights and not closing everything else!
They just cram too much into the game and dont get it that the puristic less is the better more!

Just dont play MP4 it is flawed if you'd ask me...

Hello all, well have had to use the compulsory v4 update !!. What a joke if you rent a server at least your car is saved but the maps all have to be converted from mp3 to mp4, you lose all your map skins, most of the single items are saved. But with the server you have to make a few changes ie
upload the script file for your Matchsettings, redo all litemaps. They have thought this through really well I don't think and No thought to all us players
who have to change everything especially if you run a server. Then on top of all this work you have to reregister your server in the game. I do not like the opening screen colour and layout. I know that they only trying to keep up to date i.e. graphics wise so why did they not just update the graphics, why change everything. Sorry all but v4 update has the thumbs down from me, what a waste of time and effort.00
