Since the MP4 update of yesterday, we're a lot to witness a huge FPS drop, instead of the FPS increase that most players witness, as announced in the trailer.
For example, I was always around 11x/12x FPS on a "normal" map under MP3, and with the EXACT SAME settings in MP4, I can't go higher than 6x, and I'm usually around 4x/3x. Needless to say it's unplayable.
First of all, here are some infos on my setup:
Screen: 1440p, 144Hz, with G-Sync
CPU: intel i7 7700k
GPU: gtx 1060 3Gb
OS: Windows 10
All my drivers are up-to-date
I play via STEAM
I wrote down some weird things since MP4 that may or may not be related to the FPS problem:
1) Although I set the settings to 1440p in the launcher, sometimes, the game decides on its own to launch in 4k (which IS NOT my res)
2) Sometimes, the game doesn't launch completely : stays stuck on a black screen with a big white mouse
3) Sometimes, when I close the game, I notice that my desktop icons have been moved around (this probably has to do with the resolution issue).
If you have the same problem, PLEASE comment below and leave your specs, so that it'll be easier for Maniaplanet to troubleshoot this very annoying issue.
