Enjoying the update so far mp team, good job!
We were talking about some stuff while training and wondered about spectator mode for Trackmania:
It would be really awesome to have a setting/feature for spectator where you can type in a number and when you spec it automatically spectates that position. [ would be really useful in rounds mode and even for some certain matches ]
I was thining that if this could be done, it would be best to have a toggle on/off button for it, so that you can still select specific players to spectate, without the feature intervening with it. Or if the specific player you're spectating crashes and you want to switch, you can toggle it ON and it jumps to the position you assigned to it.
This would be really cool when training in rounds, where you wouldn't always have to be like "ok who's in first place? ok he is, let me find his name in the scoreboard" etc takes too long, and by that time he crashes as well possibly
One thought about the current spectator mode. I think the confirmation questions when you click to speck someone isn't necessary as no one would click it by accident for it to be necessary to ask if they want to spectate, and it's more annoying than anything :p. I personally found the old way really convenient, right click someones name to spectate them, press enter to rejoin to play. It was smooth and really quick.
EDIT: one more thing in rounds spec, if you change who you spec, after you retire, it puts you in spec mode, and then you're left wondering why you're not playing xD
