[ManiaPlanet V4, solved] Cannot click with mouse

Hello!
since the update to ManiaPlanet version 4, I cannot click any button with the mouse, if cursor emulation is enabled.

Without cursor emulation I cannot see the cursor in fullscreen mode, so I must enable cursor emulation. This has been the case for the older versions, too. But since the update ManiaPlanet does not react to any mouse click.
Interestingly swiping does work and also the buttons flicker if I move the mouse.

If I disable mouse emulation everything works as expected (in windowed mode), but I cannot see the mouse cursor in fullscreen mode.

I pretty much tried everything, I found here on the forum. What can I do?

Sorry for the noise, I solved my issue:

I have Redshift-Tray installed, which changes the display brightness according to the time of day. To change the brightness of the cursor it enables mouse trails (with zero length).
This seems to cause problems with ManiaPlanet 4. As soon as mouse trails are enabled, I get the behaviour described above. If I disable them everything is ok.
In contrast to earlier ManiaPlanet versions, I now even can see the cursor with cursor emulation disabled.
