Trackmania 2 Canyon Car Skin

Hello,
so I´ve been having trouble for a long time now to make my custom 2D skin to show up to other players in Multiplayer. I have created my own 2D skin ziped it and put int the appropriate folder. I furthermore upload the .zip to my drobox and created a .loc file for it. However, it still seems not to be working, all the other player see is the default black nadeo car, not my skin or the white skin which would indicate that the skin is downloading, can anyone help me with that.

Did Maniaplanet ask you if you would like to share this skin?
Can you see the skin properly?

You have to keep the locator file along with the skin in the skins folder, not on the Dropbox.

Besides this, DropBox have changed access modes this year, which might prevent to put skins there at all.

I have the skin also in the proper skin folder, and yes, tm asked wheter I want to share the skin, which I did. I also see it properly ingame.
It is just not visible for others and apperently it isn´t even loading.
Is there another platform which is good for useing as share-space for the skin?

Any webspace which allows a direct download of a file without intermediate download panel links should be fine.
