Hey, everyone. So I installed the latest update yesterday and played for a while.
One thing everybody probably noticed is that the cam weirdly moves before the start which is strange and has no value at all. (only in stadium afaik)
Besides this, though I personally feel like the handling of cam 1 itself is a little bit different. This might not be true given the fact I get dizzy just from the new start animation of the cam already, but the way the cam moves atm gives me problems. I don't know what exactly is wrong. The overall feeling of cam 1 feels like it's gotten closer to cam 2 which would be something no cam 1 player wants but whatever changed,,, please look into it and change it back. At least remove the movement of the cam before and after the start of the race. it has no value and seriously makes me dizzy looking at it.
The fact that you can switch between cam2/cam3 with just 1 button and as cam 1 player you need 2 buttons to do the same, already triggers me.
Please don't trigger me even more =D

Cam 1 does indeed swing at the start, unlike the previously fixed cam at start in Stadium.
Interestingly the only other environment this happens in is Island. It's like Cam 1 was taken from Island and put into TM2 Stadium. It does seem to be accentuated in TM2 Stadium though.
People are used to it being fixed in place. In my opinion, it should be restored to the way it was, if for no other reason than to be consistent with every other version of Stadium, and to be consistent with the other TM2 environments. But also to prevent people from getting motion sickness over it. People are sensitive to small changes like this when they play a game for months or even years.

and for me also the cam 1 feels slightly diffrent by driving but thats not a big probleme for me
but why is there these up and down in the start which also makes me dizzy
so in my eyes it makes definetly no sense to introduce that when the countdown starts

Why don't we get any information about this? With the biggest TM competition starting next weekend I really don't like that training as cam1 driver is more stressing then before since we need to change cams every round to avoid the weird cam movement.

I respect that developers need holidays. (Oh yes they definitely do) but could we plese soon get an answer?
