Canyon Visual Bug

Hey everyone. ever since I got a new laptop, my canyon has been glitched. basically, the more nearby background objects (ex. the canyons/rocks) are black, seemingly textureless, but the farther away ones work fine. Also, sometimes, ill hit a certain angle where the textures will just load in, but go away again if I move. I'll add pictures when I get home. Sidenote, im running it through a VM.
