Hello people, first of all please excuse me if I posted this in the wrong section (typical sentence said on fora by newbies).

I would like to express my concerns in regards of the "licensing" of the game.

Some years ago, while happily playing TM nations forever, I discovered the existence of mania planet. It was really beautiful. Obviously had some limitations for free users that now I don't recall, but I was fine with it. But sooner or later it stopped working: It said that I used up all my "planets", and wouldn't let me play again. In fact, my planets went to zero, but I don't recall them to drop down, or maybe even existing at all... Years passes, fast forward to some months ago. Somehow I managed to discover, searching on Google because the User Interface is unclear on this subject, that a free version still exists, and is called "channels", where you can play a title in given time slots. After re-evaluating the game for some time using channels, since it changed from last time I played it (mostly in good ways), I decided to buy it. And now comes the problem. First of all the user interface of the home screen changed strongly through the years, and seeing it now is somehow confusing. There is this giant button that says "take my planets & give me the station", which really reminds me of the meme "shut up and take my money". So I started wondering what those things were used for, and noticed that the second time I logged in the game, it gave me 8 thousands planets or something like that. My first question is how these things work and how can I gain more planets.
The second concern is this: after clicking on a server, I was told that the title "chase" was not installed. Sounds strange, since when I used the channels, I could freely and easily play the chase mode. I thought that buying the game would have given me access to every race mode involving the stadium environment, but it doesn't seem like that. What's the real license fee/system/policy of this product? How can I play all the modes which take place *within* the stadium ?

But one thing i can tell you: try not to mix up stations/titlepacks with the full games. I know this is confusing but all titlepacks (e.g. Chase Titlepack) as you mention have no price to pay in money. They might cost some planets and you also need to spent some planets to be able to add Titlepacks to your collection.

You can reach the titlepacks over the store. If you have it in your collection you can decide to play it. If not you can decide to add it to your collection as a station. If you have no more free stations left you can delete one or buy 3 more stations.

If you own a titlepack you can access it on several ways. Often you can enter the servers of the titlepack also through the base title (e.g. Chase through Stadium as long as you have added Chase to you collection).

I hope this explantion helps. Its a bit complicated

Hi, you can get more planets, when you play the Game! When you received a special ammount of ladderpoints, then you will get planets!
It' shows you, when you login to the game, that you have earned some.
It has nothing to do with real money, cause planets are only Ingame Money and can only get through playing not through buying.

You have acces to all Stadium related Titles! But you have to go to the ingame Store and download the Titlepack from there.
And you need a empty station. You can get 3 empty stations for 5000Planets, then you can install 3 Titlepacks, from the IngameStore.
So, it's like you can unlock more and more stations, for playin the game!

I don't know if you get some free stations when you have bought Stadium.

how steep is the curve of the speed at which you gain planets? is there an asymptote like my gaming skills?
if you eark planets only for performing good in the game, after I will reach my upper limit, I will soon after be poor ahah!

ah, nice, you can uninstall titles when you have all stations full. seems convenient. just a bit of waiting to download another one after regaining the slot :) but how?

When you beat more better ranked players, then the ammount of Ladderpoints you earn is much higher.
