My gift wasn"t activated

For the black friday's sales , my friend gave me a steam key for trackmania2 = stadium .
I accepted it , I waited the key to activate , I downloaded the game , I launch the game , I created an account
And now I'm lock with a demo account , apparently my key wasn"t activated .
What should I do ?

Try this:

Get the ManiaPlanet CD Key from Steam using this button:



Then, after logging in, go to Options:



And click "Enter Game Key". Paste your ManiaPlanet CD Key that you got from Steam here. Hopefully that works!
