Buddy chat shows empty join messages when using steam

Hi,

Dunno if it bothers others, but atleast I find it little weird when using steam version of the game... You get empty buddy popups when steam user connects to steam but not to the game itself.

Although I'm not sure if this is supposed to be a feature or a bug.

These used to show when your Steam friends would come online. I personally think it has no real use, so I vote for that "feature" to be removed altogether.
