Important reminder: I don’t want to start a hate war against nadeo. I still love their games and be proud to be in a community that are so nice like no other community can do that. This is just my honest opinion to the actual situation and communication between the studio and the TrackMania / ShootMania community.
TrackMania², or ManiaPlanet, is a thing since 2011, maybe even further, i don’t surely know. The entire franchise is existing since 2003. And always Nadeo worked very close with the community. As example including player-made maps as StarTrack update for TrackMania Forever. Or let people build their own titlepacks with custom vehicles, custom maps etc. Since ManiaPlanet 4.1 even let us use the United car physics in TrackMania².
But since a certain point months ago i have fear about the future from Nadeo and the ManiaPlanet community.
For some time, there has been only seemingly sporadic contact between Nadeo and the community. For example the only contact that Nadeo give to the players are in due to the actual running competition "TrackMania Grand League". What, for me at least, is a point where Nadeo shows that they still care about the competition scene of TrackMania. But I do not really understand a lot here:
For the TrackMania scene there still bugs that can ruin the entire game, such as the current popular "red time" bug where people get red times in servers with a lot of players (as said from riolu in this post "viewtopic.php?f=9&t=45604") or the memory leak issue, reported from Spammiej (viewtopic.php?f=8&t=42400) that still isn’t fixed properly as i see. Or other bugs like the fact that ShootMania maps can’t use TrackMania car replays, that got reported by MCYC (viewtopic.php?f=631&t=45522), which didn’t even get a single reply from anyone to this time.
Or we take a look at the situation in ShootMania:
With ManiaPlanet 4.1 the situation for ShootMania get worse than it was. There we got serious issues ingame. People complained about that and as i know, such topics got locked. For me it looks like shootmania is dead, although many love the game (me included) and would love to play if it isn’t a pure multiplayer game.
And there is a lot more of bugs that i can’t mention, other players have reported them times ago too.
And for that points i expect from Nadeo a open communication about such problems. They should not tell us about how they fix it or something like that. But a little sign of life like "We are working on it" with a (if its possible due to the bug situation and if the devs are known such) temporary solution or just anything that gives the player hope that this will get fixed very soon. But currently Nadeo wrapped himself in silence what isn’t related to TMGL. I hope, it is just for the time where this competition is running and you don’t lose the focus of the entire franchise. Both TrackMania and ShootMania. We want to keep this game alive, we want to make things with this game, we want to play this game and we care a lot about this game. I hope you get back to the situation where we get proper communication with you. And we want to stay positive. But with the actual situation i’m really not happy. Absolutely not.
I know that you really hard work on something big and important, and i respect that. I have the feeling that you care about the players and the creators. Please show us that soon.

So is this the cool thing to do now? Raise attention to a few bugs in the forum to try to get Nadeo to fix them faster? It feels like we have a thread like this every other week.
Don't get me wrong, sure, there are issues that are important to fix, but I don't think a separate thread to this will be any more helpful than just bumping the relevant threads a bit. (One of which is a thread with a developer response of a workaround that softens the situation, and one of which is a very old thread from 2017 which is unlikely to still be relevant.)
You also seem to forget that Nadeo has been posting a lot and fixing a lot of bugs. (For example, Niebo has been very active replying to Mesh Modeler issues. There are also some others. Note that not all bugs that have been fixed for the next update will get a reply, either.)
As for Shootmania, the issues that have arisen from 4.1's release have (as far as I know) been resolved already. Here is the thread which contains all the current Shootmania criticisms which is not closed. (Note that the other thread was only closed because people were throwing insults around.)
Please do bump the threads with bugs that you think are important, and that you can confirm are still relevant in the current version of ManiaPlanet, as making a thread like this doesn't really help as much as you think.

It isn’t meant to bash Nadeo for fixing issues that i care about. In this thread i just wanted to write my opinion down to tell the others what i actual think of that situation. Maybe a seperate thread isn’t needed, surely, but i just made it and should be there other threads where such topics are discussed actively and even offered some workaround, feel free to give me the links to that.
As for ShootMania i didn’t heard about any bugfixing, so i’m sorry if i don’t get myself up-to-date.
But well, i made some mistakes in the thread, apologize for it. I’ll concern about bug experience myself in other topics to minimize the usage of own threads.

I support Timania on her point related to the communication between the player and the creator of the game!
