Freewheel backward reversed direction

Hello, I don't know if it is a feature or a bug :

Since the last update, in backward, the direction is the same as forward. But if it is during a freewheel, the direction is reversed. This is very disturbing.
And there is no option to disable it (or I haven't found it yet).

Is it normal?
