[BUG] PC freezes when i hit a wall

Hello, I recently wanted to play Trackmania Stadium 2 again, but I had a big problem : the game launches perfectly with Steam, but when I try to play ( tried on multiplayer and map editor) my computer freezes as soon as I hit a wall. This is very strange, and the game worked perfectly few monthes ago... I tried to re-install the game, verify game folders with Steam, nothing worked : always the same issue when I hit a wall. When it freezes, I can't even go back to the desktop to close the game, so I have to turn off my computer. This is very anoying, pls help !

Actually I noticed it happens when I hit any kind of object, but with a certain speed. So there might be a problem with the collision particles (idk if this even exists but think it does)

Odd bug.
I have not heard of this happening to anyone else yet so it might be unique to your system or setup.
Did the crash generate a Crash Log file?
What video card do you have and are its drivers current.

Video card : ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series
Drivers all current.
Nothing appears in the LogCrash file.
