Will we need to create a new account? Or ManiaPlanet has a unique account and we'll just need to enter a code to activate the next environment?

you can create another account if you prefer, but I would suggest to keep an unique account

Some Planets spending are used for you account, like the number of buddies. It helps us to provide services for a player, more than title use.

To answer your question and end this ludicrous back and forth Here's the current planned order for release of Maniaplanet titles:

Canyon
Storm
QM1
Valley
Cryo(?)
QM2
TM2(3)
SM3
QM3

And so on ad infinitum...hopefully the way they're doing this this time around they can make more than simply three environments for each title...but we'll see. Only Hylis knows what's in the mind of Hylis...
