TMF skins?
when the game comes out, will we be able to open our favorite skins from TMF with TM2?

roughly translated: the book of the dead.
Re: TMF skins?
I guess Nadeo will stay at the current system of the skins. It works good and also the quality is good enough. So if Nadeo uses the same file-type for the skins in TM2 it will be possible.
But they haven' said it it till now. So nothing is guaranteed.
To get the real answer, we have to wait...

Re: TMF skins?
Only if somehow the carmodel was the same...which is unlikely...unless it's an imported car, in which case I don't see why not...
WIP
Re: TMF skins?
I don't think this will be possible, since TM2 runs on another engine
TM , TMS , TMO , TMN , TMU , TMUF , TMNF All runned on the same engine

Re: TMF skins?
Why would they feel it necessary to change the engine
Is it really that outdated? I thought it was still good and could handle the new graphics...goes to show what I know.

WIP
Re: TMF skins?
I agree.. but they ..just changed it
Probably to make the feeling better ..
Btw. i would love to have these movie contrasts ingame

Why would'nt TM2 simply have an updated engine?CrAzYdriv3r wrote:I don't think this will be possible, since TM2 runs on another engine

That's like, say you baked a cake that you had spend like a day baking. Then you'd throw it in the wall, making it uneatable. Then you'd bake a new cake that was kinda the same, just a liiiiitle better, and eat it.
Get it?

Big fan of Daft Punk.
Re: TMF skins?
I understand and agree but don't ask me
Ask Nadeo
Or probably they changed the engine to make these noobs that judge a game by graphics to play it

I dont know yet, but i think Cazydriver's right, TMNF, TMO, TM Power up (maybe the same as TMO), TMS, TMSXtreme, TMU, TMUF are uhm... expansions of TMN. TM² is a sequel (means totally new game for me

So they perhaps gonna change how you make the cars and how you skin them... or at least the file types (if they change the file types, hopefully they change it to JPEG or TGA or... So even if you have Paint you can skin a car. this is for skinning...).
