End of race (Podium)
Just a thought...I personally enjoy getting to see my car front and center when i manage to win a race or atleast place top 3. Unfortunately the Podium was added to the game very late in the beta and alot of maps do not have this block in it. Is it possible to enable the old end of race screen for maps without this block or to make having the block necissary for track validation? Way more maps have nothing at this point then maps with this.

It's a good idea but also people got to change to new maps.
Nadeo guys told me that it was bad that I was hunting for records before beta4 (when the handling changed a little) so I also think that it is bad to publish maps and stuff and get used to them before the game is "finished" yet. It's purely natural.

If it was "bad" why wasn't that feature simply disabled in beta then?metoxys wrote:It's a good idea but also people got to change to new maps.

Publishing maps before finalization is actually a good way to track the effects of physics changes. You take something that worked well before and then try it after a physics change to see the differences. Controlled variables. Same track different physics. Differently designed track variations with the same physics. You need one controllable constant to be able to figure out what works and what doesn't.
