Mods on Tracks, help.

Hi all.

I have a question i need some help with.

Ive been making some tracks with mods on them.
The problem is some show the mods and some dont.

The tracks also have music in them which people can hear.
So im at a loss to explane why the mods dont show on all tracks.

These tracks are on a dedicated server, do the mods need to be on the server to?
And where on the server do i put them if they do need to be on it?
And do's the same apply to the .loc also need to be on the server?

Any help would be most wlecome.
I also hope this is the right place to ask.

I put the loc file into \Skins\Canyon\Mod
then I download the link inside the loc into same directory.
(zip or gbx)
selecting mod before entering editor and it works.

mods integreted into maps don´t need to be on the server where ur dedicated is runing,
only at this place shown in the loc.

So the .loc has the address in it from where you download it from, should i change that or leave it as is?
Only reason i asked all above is i can see the mods as i made the track but my friends dont see all the mods i used.
Would this be because they havnt got it downloaded yet, or do i need to host the mod somewhere and change the .loc to show the root?

1. u have the loc file in your "Mod" folder?
2. there is nothing to change in the loc file!

if u don´t use locator file, then others can only see the mod after donwloading it manually or allready have donwloaded

if all is fine by your side
and some ppl on a server can see some not,
1. maybe they have disabled p2p
2. maybe the serversettings are disabled on p2p
^ what ever the settings are, if they have donwloaded the mod before they can see it, if they didn´t then not!
