Timespeed and videos
So I made my first video, short and pretty simple, but I had a couple slow motion section where I drifted super close to the wall, in preview it came out perfect, but then when I rendered the video the slowmotion wasn't present. Is there a bug w/ it? Also had the same problem with importing replays, I just used record ghost as a workaround.
Re: Timespeed and videos
From what I can figure out, reducing the timespeed doesn't really cause time to go slower, but rather slows down the preview playback. You can see the timer counting up slowly as well.
When you render a video, it seem to ignore timespeed completely, from what I can see...
If you want a slow-mo effect, you're gonna have to manipulate the time block instead. Use keyframes to add in time values. The time block's time value represents the time in the race (for the car ghosts), while the playback timer represents the time in the video.
I can't really get import ghosts to work properly either, though my workaround involves making separate replays and selecting them all before going inn to edit them... though if i want more ghosts afterwards, I'll have to record them inside, or start from scratch. ^^;
