[Epic suggestion] Official times

The timer bothers me a lot so I have a major suggestion.
Every time you finish a Nadeo track, when you see the replay there should be an additional button, named "Officialize" or "Make official" or something. Pressing that button either doesn't cost anything or costs a few planets. Then either this replay gets upped immediately and will be counted as an official time, or, when you close ManiaPlanet, the replays will be uploaded automatically.
This way we have a lot more freedom and I think, with the uploading all at once, the server load is being decreased a bit. Also, no god damn timer. And if there are multiple replays on the track, in case that all replays are getting upped when you close MP, then only the best will be uploaded.

Ehm, can you tell me the difference between this suggestion, and removing the timer?
If i can officialize a run, everytime i come to the finish, where's the "point" of the official run?

Kind of defeats the point of official time doesn't it ? Might as well just say best time=official time (not suggesting that). I would prefer to keep the added pressure of having to confirm before a run that you want to do an official race. I still think the best way would be the old fashioned way without a time limit, but paying planets per attempt. The 5 minute timer is just an annoyance.

This would just be a very dumb way of doing it,as all players would use some more seconds every run to hit the official run button,as they can do it whenever they want.

However, people making much more official runs is their fault. The 5 minute timer was implemented to save server load. With this suggestion, if all replays are just uploaded at once when you close ManiaPlanet and only the best replay per track gets uploaded, we have minimum additional server load and maximum fun making official runs!

1. You drive a time which you want to be official
2. You press on the officialize or make official button (for planets maybe)
3. The replay gets saved in a temporary folder
4. You do another run, beating the previous run, also officialize it (for planets maybe)
Options:
5.o1. The previous/wore replay on that track gets deleted
5.o2. The replay stays there

6. You close ManiaPlanet (for planets maybe looolololo) or you press the "Upload official times" button (for planets maybe)
7.o1. The replays will be uploaded and you gain skillpoints and planets in case you beat medals
7.o2. The best replay on each track will be uploaded and you gain skillpoints and planets in case you beat medals

I don't get it. With the button the replays become official and become officially official when they are uploaded
