In Trackmania United, when starting the race the car used to "sit down" on the rear wheels.
That gave a more realistic look at the movement of a car starting a race.
Is there any chance to have it back on Tracmania 2?

i'm not sure what you really mean here.
TM is not a realistic driving simulation, and I think this effect is not really this much necessary for driving.
did you try the first perspective camera (sitting in the car) to see if the effect is there?

I think I know what's actually being requested: weight transfer on acceleration and breaking. It was one of the few graphics features of TMUF and TMNF that was actually superior to TM2. It's not really necessary, but it adds a touch of realism that even Mario Kart's latest titles have to a degree. It's not nearly as much of an issue as, say, Hydro Thunder without a water bounce effect.

Yea .. I think he means that in TMN/TMU the car sits on the 'cradle' at the start. Three ... Two ... One... Go! ... The 'cradle drops and you accelerate away.

That's right
It adds more reality to the race

I just checked in Canyon. The effect is still there, but not anymore that much noticeable as with TMUF.
Perhaps they made the suspension of the Canyon car relatively hard
